Chapter Eight

~Two Heartbeats and a Red Sin~

Desire... Aversion...
The kiss was one of desire.
Sebastian's hands gently caressed her waist feeling the red lace stroking his fingers. He was not quite sure why he had succumbed into his desires. She had the upper hand. At any moment, she could grasp at his sword, gun or even the shard and attack him. All he could think about was undressing this girl despite the coldness of the snow that lay beneath them.
He felt it. Her hand reach into his back pocket where the shard was. His eyes flew open and so did hers.
Immediately, he pushed her onto the snow and her reflexes kicked in real quick. She was already charging at him with a dagger.
"Die!" she yelled in Japanese.
He dodged her attack and she fell onto the snow. Sebastian laughed. She turned and replied with a death stare. Her dark brown eyes shone in the dark and he was not sure why his heart had begun beating.
She threw the dagger at him with the both of them knowing that no one was going to be harmed tonight.
Cass sighed. "It was worth a try."
Sebastian merely smirked at that.

"Turn left at the light post, keep walking down that street until you see a red building. Go into that red building and take the elevator to level 2. Once at level 2, go into the third room and go out the window. There is already a rope waiting for you so you can climb down it and a limo will be waiting for you. Go now," the old woman whispered urgently. She sat on a wooden chair by the side of her table peering through a clear crystal ball.
"Thank you, Christina," a young man carrying a black suitcase said to her.
"Good luck, Tomo."

Chapter Seven

~I Loved You To Death, Part 2~

Perfect. Tomo diluted her blood. Nice. I am going to have to kill him. Hmm... what to do with this girl... To avoid suspicion, I'm going to have to take her with me. Shit. More difficulties. Alright, I'll take her and... we will set for Moscow tonight.

Tomo was worried.
Sebastian would want to kill him for diluting her blood. Tomo continuously circled the bedroom of the one unit apartment until the vision of the room became blurred. He knocked over a chair and fell onto the floor.
~Flashback, One Year Ago~
"Tomo..." Cass was sleeping right next to him with her legs entwined with his and he knew that this was the perfect opportunity to dilute her blood. He wouldn't have the chance to do so in future.
He gently untangled her legs from his and placed them gently on the bed. He got up and walked over to the dressing table full of her perfumes and cosmetics. He looked at himself in the mirror. He was half-naked, wearing only his boxers and the eyeliner which was smudged. He opened the draw and gazed upon the syringe filled with dark red liquid, his blood.
He picked it up and took a deep breath. Once he squeezed it into her, there was no turning back. After a couple of seconds, contemplating his chances, he walked up to her where she lay on his bed.
She wore a dark red lace lingerie and her dark brunette hair was curled from the party last night.
He lifted her wrist and pressed the syringe up her arm and squeezed.
Her eyes flew open.
There was no turning back. She would always be linked to him. Perfect.

Cassandra was confused.
Cass woke up with a black marking on her wrist. It was Modern Greek alphabet scorched with black ink. She looked at herself, she was wearing a white dress with white stockings. Her hair was tied up in a high ponytail held together by a white ribbon. She touched her cheek and it was made up. She touched her lips and her fingertips became red.
The last thing she could remember is Sebastian biting her neck. Where was he? She looked around her surroundings and she was alone in the dark, cold snow. She sat on a red, velvet blanket and the strong wind blew towards her. She saw a dark figure walk towards her.

Sebastian was angry.
He had lost Tomo once again. He was so close to finally killing him but Kerrianne had called him at the wrong time giving that curry puff a chance to disappear. Kerrianne had been calling with news from Lalaland. Princess Cass' father (King Kumar) had fallen into a coma. Queen Henali has now become the leader of the world.
Sebastian's emotions have changed dramatically.
As he walked towards her, he felt his heart beating. He regrets sucking her blood. Although, it was diluted, the taste was too good.
She stood up rather shakily. He stopped a small distance away from her body and stepped forward until their bodies were touching. He gazed into her eyes with lust as she did the same. He leaned towards her and his fingers raised her chin up. Their lips touched and a rush of emotions were released.
Thinking the same thoughts, Sebastian's hand grasped her waist and Cass' arms held his neck closer to her.
"My first kiss tasted like aphrodisiac, filled with the scent of cologne."

Chapter Six

~I Loved You To Death, Part 1~

I'm hallucinating. Yes, I'm definitely hallucinating. She is not, certainly is not standing in front of me.

"Sebastian?" the young woman that he had longed for asked.
Making quite an effort to bring himself towards her, he extended his right arm to her and introduced himself.
"I'm Master Sebastian, prince of Lalaland. I have waited for your presence and am glad that you have returned to me."
Cassandra, feeling awkward, looked around the castle and eventually looked towards his still extended hand. She warily extended her arm out and Sebastian grasped it, pulling her towards him so that their bodies were touching.
Cassandra looked up at him with a terrified expression on her face.
Sebastian merely smirked and said, "You're mine."

Hahaha, what fools. A whole 370 days of being feigning my misery for Cassandra escaping me. Ha! As if, I would be distressed if some young woman leaves me for another man. My plan in now in place. She has come back to me to get the shard of love. I will stab her with it tonight and drink her blood. I haven't had blood in years. Her blood is pure. It should be. If Tomo had diluted it, then I will have to kill him too.

Tomo was worried.
He did not like this plan but if he wanted to kill Sebastian once and for all, this was the only way. Cassandra will fall in love with him, no doubt about it. There is nothing Tomo could do. He would have to wait for Cassandra to kill Sebastian with her own bare hands.

Sebastian had locked the both of them in his bedroom. Cassandra was holding a lamp post to defend herself.
"Do you really think that hitting me with a lamp post will hurt me?" he asked with such mockery.
She just nodded and charged at him with the lamp post.
No more games. I need blood.
Sebastian disappeared. He then reappeared behind her and bit her neck. Cassandra yelled in pain as the blood came gushing out.
"I'm going to kill you Sebastian... if it is the last thing that I do..." she whispered and then fainted.
Sebastian laughed.
"I'd like to see you try."

Chapter Five

~I Love You To Death, Part 2~

"Sebastian was nothing to me."

"Cassandra was my everything."

"Tomo is the one."

"Cassandra is mine."

"Master Sebastian, I do fear for your health," said his oldest and most faithful maid Kerrianne.
Sebastian couldn't care less about his health. He had lost Cassandra. His obsession with her was overwhelming. He was beginning to have hallucinations of her walking through his front door and running to his arms.
He hadn't been eating properly for a while and his crystal ball failed to find her. He had been going on long searches, walking through deserts and forests but she was no where to be found.

Instead of returning to back to his hometown in Chiangmai, Tomo was forced to flee with Cass to Hawaii. Although, every two months, the two had to move to another country in fear of being discovered by Sebastian.

Tomo and Cass held hands while shopping at Waikele Premium Outlets. The two were having such a great time. The last year had been amazing. Everyday would consist of Cass and Tomo, Tomo and Cass, Cass and Tomo, Tomo and Cass. That was the way it was supposed to be. The way that the couple wanted it to be.
Cass wanted to be with Tomo from the beginning. Although, she still hasn't met Master Sebastian, she didn't want to. She didn't care about his wealth. Tomo was just as wealthy.
The only thing that Sebastian had that both her and Tomo wanted was the shard of love.

One night, Tomo and Cass were lying down gazing up at the stars when Tomo asked her, "Should we continue running away from reality?"
Cass was waiting for this question to be asked for a while now. She shifted her body towards him and said, "if I get that shard of love from Sebastian, we can be free."
Tomo frowned. "Do you think that you can do it without falling in love with him?"
"Of course."

Master Sebastian was observing the shard of love. Legend says that one pierced with the shard of love will die however one pierced in the heart will become immortal if the person piercing them is in love with them.
The doors flew open and a strong wind blew in his face. He looked up and saw her. The woman that he had been waiting for, for 370 days.
Her expression was ambivalent.
"Cassandra..."
